Latchingdon Office for insurance brokers

Contract value:£ 1.2million

This is a purpose designed office building for an insurance company headquarters. Because of the rural location the planning authority insisted the building adopted the character of a traditional Essex barn building which although not entirely appropriate for an office where natural light is important the highly visible building fits well into the landscape and adjacent farm buildings. Due to the lack of services the building is heated using an air source heat pump system. The building provides open office space broken into several areas conference and meeting rooms, a board room and senior management offices at first floor contained within the roof void.
